Royal High Rhinos are a not for profit volunteer sports club offering a mini rugby experience for children from Primary 1 through to primary 7. The team train most Sundays from 1pm to 2pm at: The Royal High School East Barnton Avenue Edinburgh EH4 6JP Often we will have other teams vist us and play fun games in a collaboritive, sharing and energetic environment. We also attend other teams/venues and play in joint training sessions or festivals. We have up to date fixtures/schedules on this website. Be sure to check the Facebook page for the most up to date news/fixtures/events. Here at Royal High we provide a safe friendly environment for the children to participate in outdoor exercise. Children thrive in sports with healthy social interaction, exercise and fun games. Go on, Why not give rugby a try! The Royal High Rhinos were established in 2018 which saw the return of the black and white hoops at Barnton. Royal High have a long history of mini rugby at Barnton and it is fantastic to have such a thriving mini rugby section. Our numbers have increased substantially and we regularly see well over 100 kids participating in mini rugby in our paddock. We are run entirely by volunteers and the local community. We have a great team of parents/helpers but always need more! We have a role for you, whether its coaching, helping with the festivals, first aid support or cheering on the kids no-one is left out.
